These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the VBeta mobile application ("App") operated by VBeta ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
The App uses Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@duobook.co if you suspect unauthorized access.
New accounts receive a limited number of analysis tokens at no charge.
You may purchase additional analysis tokens as one-time in-app purchases through Apple's App Store. All purchases are subject to Apple's payment terms.
A monthly subscription grants a recurring token allowance, credited at the start of each billing period. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
If subscription pricing changes, you will be notified in advance. Continued use of the subscription after the new price takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price. Unused tokens do not carry over if a subscription lapses.
Purchased tokens and subscriptions are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies. Unused tokens do not carry over beyond any stated expiry.
You retain ownership of any climbing videos you upload or record using the App. By submitting a video, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it on-device solely to provide the analysis service. We do not transmit your video files to our servers.
All pose estimation and movement analysis runs on your device using Apple's Vision framework. Raw video frames are not stored or shared by us.
You must not upload content that depicts illegal activity, infringes third-party rights, or violates any applicable law.

VBeta provides automated movement feedback for informational and recreational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional coaching, medical advice, or injury prevention guidance. Climbing is an inherently risky activity. We are not liable for any injury or harm resulting from actions taken based on the App's feedback.
All App content, including the analysis engine, UI, and coaching text, is owned by VBeta and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OF ANALYSIS RESULTS, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VBETA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 90 DAYS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, unused tokens are forfeited except where required by law.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
